I think your point is very true.  There IS a double standard.  IN fact there is a double standard in LIFE !!

Women are still treated differently in business then men.

Women still have to work harder to get to the same place in business as  men.

Women on average earn approximately 10% less than men holding the same positions.

Women with long blonde hair who wear tight tops are treated as "eye candy" and not taken seriously in business.

Women have to endure derogatory and sexist comments based on their looks not just in business, but in society as well.

I HATE double standards.  I wish they didn't exist in any areas of life.  I try very hard not to judge but then many people regard me as gullible. I give everyone a chance, except for the guys with cock shots !!!

Personally, I believe there are MANY MANY obstacles we all face in life.  The challenge for each of us is to find a way of overcoming those obstacles.

I have long blonde hair (I recently cut it so it's not as long), I wear tight fitted tops, I wear make up and I'm reasonably successful in my business.  Persistence and ignoring the obstacles has been the key to my success.

On RHP there are several men (over 40) who are big hits with the women ! You should read some of their Validations !!! Perhaps you could look at some of the men's profiles and try and figure out how they do it !  That's the strategy I use in business and I think it'd work ok here too.

The way I look at it is, profile views are fine, I mean , what harm is it doing someone checking out your profile? However if you have been sent a msg. and have politly refused their request for further communication for whatever reason, if they still check out my profile so be it...just do not contact again! We have a certain male out of our requested age group who respected our msg. sent another equally pleasnt reply thanking us back, still checks us out but that is it?
