Do people actually read profiles????

I've come to the conclusion that most men, not all, but most don't bother to read profiles.  Is it just me that thinks this? Or are there any guys out there that do actually take the time to read a profile?

Yes

I do read the profiles and only send messages seeking contact to those that match. I have on a couple of occassions read a profile that I think is great even though I don't match and still sent a message saying that I like their profile and wishing them good luck. I don't expect a response from those people however I have received a thank you from one which was nice.

Reading Profiles

Yes I do However, in my limited experiance I have seen that a profile description sometimes does not tell the whole story. once you do get to know someone and they get to know you it starts to be a great thing eother short time or long. some people want something and end up with something different, and find that they like it. wasted profiles..

i do... but the vast majority of women dont write more than a couple of sentaces in their profiles anyway..  you really see jokes, football tipps or advice on how to hang a door..  i'm not sure why RHP provide an area to write about your self.. they should just have 2 inputs.... "male/female" "sexy" form 1 - 10 LRE

Read...

Hahaha... I agree, most guys don't get past the pics. It's them pretty pics that turns them dyslexic. It is so obvious that they have not read my profile... on occasion. Not always. XXX

Of corse I do

Yes I do read womens profiles. Some write not a lot at all, and others write too much. Some that do write too much, add at the very bottom "No single guys thanks", when they should put that at the top and save me the bother of reading their life story.  Steve

Finnaly, a real explanation to this phenomenon

yes, males DO read profiles, but they are so stupid that they missed the entire point within the profiles :P

be original & personal

some original information in profile does help decision making
when someone simply says the usual
"some people think im attractive"
"just looking for fwb"
etc etc
it has no reflection on their true personality
mention a sport you like
mention a quote that has some meaning to you
something which is a bit more personal

Yep!

I most certainly do - i'll look and read. Then i'll only send a flirt if i'm interested or want to make contact.

Reading the profile is something that has to happen before a flirt is sent I say

I reckon reading the profile is a must because you need to see if they are looking for the same thing and to see what type of person they are yes you could ask questions but you did place it on your page for a reason and it'll only take a minute

Yep we do!

Well some of us do!

Thou in the past i have to admit i have just skimmed the profile and realized after a flirt was sent. That was a long time ago thou and nowadays I'll read it a couple of time before sending a message or flirt......

We all wise up in the end and stop thinking with our cocks in the end.

Yep here too!

I am another male that reads the profiles. I read allof the profile before making any kind of "next move".  Not all male brains are bellow the waist. :)

It's a blood supply problem

By the time these guys have seen the pictures, the blood has left the brain and it's the little head controlling the typing. Personaly, I use the looking for me option. However, I'd have about the same level of success if I didn't :( What really gets me are the advertisers who state looking for Men, but place "no single males" or "couples only".
