I very rarely block anyone, but in another place I do use the search ignore fuction.

I use it to cull out profiles that don't do anything for me, they can still view and contact me, but I don't need to wade past them everytime I log on.

I wouldn't take the blocking personally in this instance.

You aren't on your own there Readytobeused, I've had the same experience. I've only blocked one women's profile here and that was because she blocked me; with out me ever contacting her. I'm thinking maybe I should be meaner and block the others like her as well. It seems that rudeness is encouraged here or maybe its just some of the Darwin women? I know there are polite and friendly women here they are just hard to find.
