Chick questions??

Jul 29, 2012
Meeka100   Woman 42yrs
So let me set the scene,  I asked a good friend of mine who comes with benefits a question via text message, something I have always wanted to ask him. I got no response.

An hour later I send another text saying not sure why that was such a weird question.

His response: that is such a chick question I am not even going to answer that.

And he still hasn't. Dontcha hate that!!!!!

My questions is:
what the hell does that even mean? That is such a chick question? And no it wasn't a touchy lovey dovey question or anything. Honest! But how do I know when I am asking a chick question?

Magic Mike

Was the question "Do you think Chanum Tatum is HAWT?". If so, I completely understand his reaction.

I always hate...

"What are you thinking?" Ugh. Such a chick question, and it's the worst. Ladies, do you ask it? Do you know any guys that do?

Do people hate it as much as I do?

Presumably it's something to do with guys not expressing emotion blah blah blah, but the eldritch horrors of my mind are for me and me alone (and the occasional internet forum I choose to share them with.)

I should not be made to reveal, or lie about, how I've had better!

my understanding is

if it is something about a topic 'that only another guy would understand' then its a chick question.

For example:

1. Why do you constantly scratch your balls?

2. What is your fascination with "insert sport or type/model of vehicle  here that they never play or drive"

3. What is it with men and always wearing a belt with long pants / jeans?

Kisses

Chicks often ask questions where they won't accept the answer

... or scoff at it.

Is this a trick question?

Does my arse look big in this?

Maybe it was a question that he thought the answer was obvious and the question was one you should know the answer to?

Chick Question

Is a chick question one where the male feels an impending doom if the answer could be a loaded gun to be used against him?

I'm so with neptune...

I'm not sure this is a chick question as I've failed with this question as well.  And I hate the question.  And I'm ashamed I've asked it..  Though it's been many many years since I have.

But Meeka..  Lets have the question?  I'm curious now.

I'm also surprised your buddy did not reply with some sort of rebuff in the first place.  I think ignoring a question is worse than asking a shitty one..  ~grins~

But on a different level
Not so much who was or was not better every situation and location can have its own arousal, tension or release of...that make certain experiences a whole different ball game

Though the one "what are you thinking" to me is more not due to me thinking any thing bad well naughty bad maybe
however it is more I like what goes on in my mind, if the person is opposite me and my mind wonders of into sexual thoughts then it is still for my mind to where I am looking to lead the conversation...if it gets there I can tell her later where and what my thoughts where prior but to ask at the time may put a stop to every thing, a damper on the situation or takes away the element of surprise either way I find some things are better for all parties concerned left unsaid till a time when they can come out.

I don't hate it but some things should be left for the mind to allow further and deeper thoughts to arise from them before they are released preferably in action than in words, though I like saying nice things if i like the person, I also like talking in sexual innuendo's if I can squash a few in here and there
lol
If we meet the first time or second etc and in my mind I am thinking my your lips look so full and luscious I'd love to see you go down on me, or I am thinking i can't wait to taste you then the female asks what are you thinking? - just isn't right to say in some situations also the lady in question may hate oral or maybe other things my mind brings up so here i may say a white lie depending on the strength of the relationship as much as I hate lies but hardly going to shoot my self in the whatever part of me if i feel it is getting closer to a more enjoyable moment for what I think and feel for both parties

Meeka as others say a hint to the question would be so much more beneficial even if you PM'd it to a selected few of your friends to get an answer as here we are all going of different thoughts...maybe

All names, dates have been changed, any resemblance of any of the characters below to someone you know is pure co-incidence!

I can't figure out a way of saying this without giving too much away. So how about this scenario....
I am seeing a guy who I have become very good friends with over the last few years as well as lovers. He is in a poly amorous situation. (is that the right word?) meaning he has two main relationships and they all know about each other. They all have an arrangement that allows them to play away from home as well. I know! Greedy boy! Anyway, one partner doesn't want to know any details but the other partner is more open I think. So I was wondering, since he and I have been "friends" for 2 yrs now, if the more open partner knows about me. So I asked. And that is the response I got. That is such a chick question I am not even going to answer it. :O
Is it a chick question? Does chick question really mean trick question?? What? LOL

it makes a little more sense to me now Meeka

I'm just guessing here, but hear me out. Guys are super-sensitive to clinginess, as we girls all know. A guy in that kind of situation could possibly construe your question as an indication that you want to matter enough to him that he's told one of his partners. Or perhaps that you're about to get all girly and ask a bunch of questions like, how did she react, what did she say etc.

Make sense?

I could be way off the mark :)

Not a chick question

If anything, his response sounds more evasive than anything, which is a bit odd. The situation is probably confused though because it's via text, so all intonation, body language, cues as to motivation behind the question etc. are absent.

arrogant.

My opinion is he is arrogant where women are concern, look what he has,all these ladies, why wouldn't he assume your question was unworthy of an answer.  Treat him mean and keep him keen, don't let him thiink you  need him.
