Well if someone is talking shit about me and i feel that it is untrue, my first course of action is usually to confront them and ask them why they are talking shit about me.    If that fails you just have to state the facts to them as to why the things they are saying are untrue.   But you have to take into account the imbicile factor and even after proving them wrong with the facts they still might rant and rave about you.    Unfortunately if this happens all you can do is remind yourself that the person it an idiot and try to relax about it hoping that anyone with two braincells will see through there bullshit.

Hey hoodlem, I just wanted to say that I agree with you 110%.... you are so right... unfortunately though... there are some out there who have the ability to manipulate others.... or how you could say... baffle them with bullshit... but like you said... anyone with half a braincell will end up seeing thru their lies... and well... It highly depends on who that person is. If it's a close friend or family, then i'll try to explain it and try to find out why there is a misunderstanding. It may not be their fault, it maybe sth i did that led them to think what they think. If it's someone who i dont really know, then there's no need to do anything. Ppl accuse other ppl all the time, it doesnt mean anything. To those who knows u, they'll know what u will/won't do. What ppl accuse you of is not going to change what your friends think or know about u. There'r too many things in life and being accused of sth u'r not is not worth ur attention, and certainly not worth u being not happy over it :)

Every one wants to be in love but you need the Right person at the right time in the right place.  I have met people and felt that instant conection and it was shared. we both felt it. but or live were going in different directions.
