I was on another dating site a couple of years ago and arramged to meet a woman for dinner and a show.

Cassandra, there's nothing arrogant in using your own judgement. Many members complain about all the cock picks. Still, if the men in question had no luck at all, they would probably change them. I guess there is a niche that they ill and it's no fault of yours if you're not part of it. Whether you call it judgement, opinion, conclusion, assessment or point of view, it's all the same thing and it's how we arrive at our decisions on a daily basis. There's no arrogance in it.

I don't try to meet women on here, so I can't comment on how they behave in the 'meet and greet' process. I do get messages from a LOT of men (as most women do) and the vast majority of the messages are ridiculous, ignorant and sometimes offensive. I imagine some women might respond positively to them but most wouldn't. I gave up man-bashing in 2000, and yes, I remember the exact moment I had a good hard look at myself and decided to stop being a bitch. I love men, pure and simple. However, men on here really don't help themselves and it still amazes me that many are annoyed that they get little response from women given how they (men generally) approach women on here. This is not man bashing, it is simply observation and experience. I absolutely believe that it costs nothing to be polite and respectful regardless of how a man might behave. I equally believe there's no obligation for anyone on here to reply to all messages or to explain their choices or decisions. I get around both of these beliefs by having a pleasant, honest auto-reply. My belief is that I should hold myself to the standards I expect from others. People will either reflect the same level of respect and courtesy back to me, in which case we might chat and get to know each othet OR if they're rude and discourteous I'll ignore them and we'll both move on without a second thought. Honestly, I don't think it's that hard to play the game nicely, regardless of which team you're on. I do get disappointed from time to time about the direction some threads take, but also understand that the battle of the sexes is sport for some :)

 

It is very easy to get an inflated sense of self when your a woman on a internet date site.

We all like to create a good image of ourselves, yes a sexy one at at that.

Some women like to display themselves on the internet with pictures or web cam as it turns them on, and it may be as far as they can go to the naughty side of the street.

Others in reality will not be approached by men, they may not fit the stereotypical body that most men or women like. Because of this they can be that hot thing, with men fawning over them, without leaving the lounge room.

After a while a sense of power creeps in, and the illusion of self perception as opposed to reality soon starts to  domintate behavious. Internet interaction can pump up a deflated self esteem.

The trick is to translate those feelings into reality. To actually meet men and to get to listen to their side of the story. Any fool can be an internet warrior regardless of gender.

I sometimes roll my eyes if the same guy sends me messages over and over when I have clearly said no thank you. But I try not be nasty though at times it can frustrate me no end.

We as women take the piss out of men and they take the piss out of us. After all we speak different languages and really I do not think women are clear enough at times and men do not read subtle signals.

Take your thoughts off-line into the world of sight, sound touch feel, and drink of the essence of the sexual sensual male. Not all men are the same, nor all women and a mirror helps to get a picture of your reality. But its also fun to have heated debate on the gender issues , so long as it does not get nasty.
